Not really getting many responses to posts, but I know this site has a lot of traffic, and I'm probably not doing something right lol. Been about 3 weeks since we discovered the bugs, pretty sure it's a low level infestation. We are going to get rid of our couch and area rugs because I have found a few bugs in living room, plus our couch is garbage anyway. I'm going to just put some plastic chairs in there for now. How long without seeing any BB's is safe for me to bring in new furniture and carpets? I've been treating myself and give much more detail in my previous post about the situation. Any advice?

Discovered small infestation of bed bugs in March. Threw my entire bed out, including the bed frame. Bought a new mattress and box and encased box, bought a metal bed frame, duck taped all the holes.

I threw my couch out about 2 months ago. I have been couchless ever since. I had a bed bug sniffing dog from a company called Nip It..here in Ohio. Come out twice after the couch was tossed.....Cleared both times.

My new couch is coming on Saturday and I am STILL freaking out about it.

But, you have to be able to move on with life eventually right? I know it's a nightmare.

    Good luck to you.

We threw our couch out last week. Having heat treatment in 12 days and can't bring anything back in for 30 days after that. I am tired of sitting on lawn chairs already.
