    Hello forum!

I have been traveling on a rural part of West Africa, and last week I stayed at a hotel where there were tons of critters.

While I got some insect bites that week, I don't think any of them were the classic bed bites you see on this forum. However, when I was leaving, I looked behind the bed and noticed a bunch of insects, some of which were really tiny, maybe just fleas, but possibly bed bugs. I had luggage and work papers near the bed, so its possible some of them could have gotten there.

Now I am in a capital city. I'm washing all my clothings, and washing other items that I can. But what can I do about work papers and books, and my computer and camera? Or, should I just not worry about it, as I am getting on a plane going back to the states soon, and any insect in West Africa will probably have a hard time adjusting to East coast weather?

Thank you for any advice you can give me.
