Hello, I was laying down on my bed until I saw this bug crawling up on my wall. My dorm room got treated twice for mites but this one is different then those. Since it has this small black area on it's body I was suspicious... Is it what I think it is?

It's quite small and I really can't say with certainty what it is at this time. I wouldn't rule out booklouse.
