I am not sure what to think anymore. I was so sure that the insect in my dogs belly had to be a bedbug. It was on the skin, not on the hairs, it looked like one (from the hazy looks I got), it was extremely fast and vanished really quickly. But after 6 hours of searching the mattress, the boxspring, the baseboards, the pictures on the wall ... I can't find anything that is really suspicious. I haven't searched the wardrobe yet, and I still have to look behind the outlets, but I even looked around the door- and windowframe. Could it be that it wasn't a bedbug? How is that possible?

I made pictures of everything suspicious I found, but I don't think any of it is anything... How long should I wait before I allow myself to hope? Three month from when I saw the bug, would that be enough?

i also put the bed into climbups and put DE on the stripped boxspring and along the baseboards. If DE kills bedbugs, then I dont understand how they should be able to survive in the bedroom anymore, there is DE even behind the pictures.

    Are the climbups installed correctly?
