    Is 15 months (inc. 2 winters) long enough for any bugs to have died? I am curious how careful I need to be.

    Not a pro here. Call me Jon Snow...... for I know nothing, except what I've experienced.

    I think they say 18 months, just to be sure.

    Yes, that is sealed in a container. These are books in a plastic tub but, unsealed. The bugs would have left the tub I imagine, I just don't know about their behavior. Wasn't sure if a bug pro would know more.
