photoI have been bed bug free for over 3 months and have moved to another apartment in the meantime. Today I noticed a weird stain on my sheet. Not sure if it could be old one, or something else, but I'm already panicking. I also have one bite on my leg, that could easily be mosquito bite. Please help me identify this stain.

    Hi,

Check the viewing settings, the page just opens blank on the PC and as empty on the app.

    Hi,

    I can see it now.

If you compare with the example images you will see its too irregular in both the shape and the pigment density for this to be bedbug faecal.

    Hope that helps.

I am happy to answer questions in public but will not reply to message sent directly or via my company / social media. I am here to help everyone and not just one case at a time.

In accordance with the AUP and FTC I openly disclose my vested interest in Passive Monitors as the inventor and patent holder. Since 2009 they have become an integral part in how we resolve bed bug infestations. I also have a professional relationship with PackTite in that they distribute my product under their own branding. I do not however receive any financial remuneration for any comments I make about pro

Thank you so much. Since I had to deal with this not too long ago, I am so paranoid when I see something. My bedroom is covered in diatomaceous earth, receptors in, all cracks in apartment sealed, everything brought in apartment washed on high temperature.
I live in NYC and it is almost impossible to find building that had no bed bug history. Even the one I moved in had a case 2 years ago in a different apartment.

    Hi,

Its OK, eventually even NY will wake up and realise its not about living somewhere with no history of bedbugs its about taking social and personal responsibility to deal with issues correctly.

"Bedroom covered in DE" always gives a bad impression when you know how to use it correctly.

I would prescribe some time learning the facts and doing the right things because moving and sealing are not going to get you where you want to be.
