We started placing sticky traps from Harris after beginning treatment with Temprid SC. One thing was to find if there were bed bugs in rooms less used, and to determine how much bagging of books and things would be required in none sleeping areas.

Now I am reading that bugs caught in the traps might warn others to stay away and miss the places where the poison is concentrated. Should I wait for a month or so, before using monitors of any kind?

    Hi,

If you want to monitor without causing the trapped bedbugs to send out alarm signals, you could try PackTite passive monitors. I believe that these monitors present an ideal harbourage site for bedbugs, so bedbugs prefer to go there instead of warning others to stay away.

    Good luck!
