    Hi everyone,

The last two mornings I've discovered some markings on one of my pillowcases just after waking up, and I'm wondering if they might be bed bug fecal/blood stains. I'm moving to a new place in just a few days so I'm freaking out a little bit! Have had bed bugs before five years ago so I know how much work they take to get rid of.

    1. Blackish spot that appeared this morning.
    2. Brownish spot that appeared yesterday morning.
    3. Brownish spot and two fainter reddish spots that appeared this morning.

I can't find any other markings on my other pillow, sheets, mattress/box spring (both have bed bug encasements), or nearby walls/baseboards. And as far as I can tell, I don't have any noticeable bites.

    Thanks so much.

I should also add I wasn't able to scrape off any of these stains.

    Hi,

If you compare with the detail in the “blood spots on sheets primer” you will see that these most resemble stains that have already been washed.

I would encourage you to monitor for confirming signs but the images do not make me concerned about bedbugs.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you, David. Yes, I've reviewed those images. It's just strange because of the sudden appearance of these spots without me having washed the sheets.
