Possible bed bug identification? [a: not bed bug-related]

Hi all,

I'm a Philly resident (where BBs are endemic) and found a reddish tinged thing on my bedframe - could be a bit of a scab or could be a bed bug. I did a thorough inspection earlier of the mattress, sheets, and bed frame (lifting the mattress and looking under the bed frame and mattress) and did not find any evidence of fecal smears, casings, bed bugs except for this thing. I did find a tiny bit of blood on a sheet but I have a few fresh cuts on my body. Please let me know your thoughts:

Any help is much appreciated - it's probably nothing but you can never be too sure in Philly!

Nothing to do with bed bugs.
