Got Bed Bugs? Bedbugger Forums » Detection / Identification of bed bugs
Pls help ID this freaking out!!
(4 posts)-
Came home last night to this bug crushed on the floor. Not sure if its a BB? Need expert opinion! I know they can be in any environment but I keep my place fairly clean. Sheets are white and flipped mattress and everything and didn't find any signs. Haven't had any bites either. Have been spraying lavender oil and tea tree oil everywhere although I'm not sure how effective that is- only read that they don't like the smell and they die upon direct contact.
Found first piece (PIC 1 & 2) a foot from side of bed in middle of room. Already was crushed and missing head so not quite sure how to identify.
Second piece (PIC 3) was found in my closet
Have attached other pictures of same pieces in baggy. Please Help!

The insect looks like broken up ladybird beetle.

Thank you! Saw some similarities so really wanted to make sure.

Hello, I know that loubugs said these pictures look like a ladybird beetle, but being the anxious person that I am I wanted to follow up- How long would if take to start noticing signs? Its been 13 days since I've seen the crushed bug pictured. Haven't found anything else and have been checking bed every morning/night. I'm probably being paranoid but I want to know how long before I can relax again.
