    Hi guys,

To cut a long story short I started getting bites only about two weeks ago, it started with one or two and I just assumed that with the hot weather it'd be gnat bites, but I've since had quite a few more spots appear predominantly in one area (thighs and err.. above!). No one else in the house is having any reaction so I feel like I'm going crazy! I jumped straight to the conclusion of bedbugs and have had many sleepless nights... since then I have seen one tiny bug on my bed at night (no other signs) and one on the sofa which looks similar to the bugs I have spotted below.. three I found in the cracks or on the floorboards. They are all dark brown with darker heads and a tiny line down the body. Two of the (more squished!) ones seem to have wings and I know that bedbugs don't, so I'm guessing some kind of beetle? Although I know it's possible to have more than one kind of bug at the same time. I'm thinking of calling pest control tomorrow but it would be good to have some kind of identification, thanks for your help!!

A fly and a beetle. Nothing bedbug related in the pictures.
