    Hello Friends,
Ive been getting bit for the past few days. The bite marks are either in rows of two or three and I also have a mild rash on my arm. I think the bites are either from fleas or bed bugs. Anyways, I was looking at the mattress and on the side I saw a bug. I've tried to look online but nothing came up. Please let me know what this bug is.. thanks in adances

Not an expert, but it does not look like a bed bug to me. Google "cockroach nymph" and see how those images compare to what you've found. In any event, an expert should be along later today or tomorrow to tell you more definitively what it is.

I'm not an expert but it's a carpet beetle.

I thought it was this one:

    loubugs -  »
Looks like a species of Anthrenus, most likely verbasci, known as the varied carpet beetle. . . . .

but now I'm not sure, you'll have to wait for Lou for the species (if you're interested)!

Regardless of the species of your carpet beetle . . . it is NOT a bed bug as Richard56 stated.

ABF: I'm not an expert but it's a carpet beetle.

I could go with that, the varied carpet beetle per Lou.

The important thing is that it does NOT appear to be a bed bug.

Based upon the photo what you have there is probably a varied carpet beetle or furniture beetle.

We'd need the actual critter to tell for sure.

Either way, it's NOT a bed bug.
