    Hello

I realise this isn't bed bugs but hoping Lou or David can shed some light. I have recently starting seeing several of these near my window and walk on walls or ceilings.

Despite hving wings I don't see them fly but only run or walk. One did jump once.

    Please let me know.

You had book lice and this one is called a bark louse. Closely related but has wings.

Thanks Lou. Is there any reason why I've started seeing them indoors just a couple of weeks ago? Are they more or less of a nuisance than booklice and is there any control for them?

    Kind regards

More rain outside? Much moisture and food for them and population increased. Calling them book lice or bark lice doesn't matter too much. Often the more patterned wing species, especially those crawling or flying about on vegetation rather than in the home, are known as bark lice.
