Since my problem is far from being over and it will take some time (legal action will start soon), I was wondering if covering the legs of my desk/table/chairs with plastic bags (garbage bags) will keep bedbugs from climbing.

I keep finding live or dead bedbugs wondering around the house, looking for a place to hide. Obviously, they come from outside since some of the nymphs are fed (and I don't have any bites).

I bought some cheap Ikea chairs with metallic legs (which is also smooth) and I think bedbugs can't climb on that surface. However, my desk has legs that are good for climbing. In order to keep them away, I think wrapping them in plastic bags from bottom to top might be a good repellent.

I would really appreciate any input on this. Thank you!
