I took off my mattress pillowtop today that had been on for at least three or four months since I last took it off and below was this. We have never actually seen bedbugs in our apartment, and we have never had any visible bites/symptoms (but apparently some people don't get symptoms?). And they're only in this one corner of the bed. Does that look like bedbug droppings, or something else?

Definitely get a closeup photo. Get several.

Not a pro here. Call me Jon Snow...... for I know nothing, except what I've experienced.

https://postimg.org/image/n4eno9sc9/ and https://postimg.org/image/9umhz35lt/ and https://postimg.org/image/3k55ovrvz/ i did as thorough a search as i could through the seams of the mattress/crevasses/etc and the edges of the boxspring and found no bugs or casings or further droppings. Also isn't red supposed to be crushed bugs, and the droppings are black? What are the chances that i crushed so many different bugs on this one corner of the bed, and they never left any droppings first? And the mattress cover thing ("pillowtop") wrapped around the bed, would that have stopped them from getting in? And there are no spots/redness on the underside of that pillowtop

    Hi,

There are strong tones of orange to this colour which means 100% not bed bugs. If you compare to example images you will see they are also far too light in colour as well.

    Hope that helps.
