I know this is going to sound odd, just heard from a woman that in Greece during WWII, when there were bed bugs they would put each foot of the bed in a bowl of petrol (gas).
This isnt really practical or safe (lol) just wondering if theres any reason to think it might, maybe work ??

This is just a component of bed isolation. It's like putting the legs of your bed in bowls of mineral oil. It works if your mattresses are securely encased, the frame is clear of bugs and bedding is constantly laundered and does not touch the ground, etc.

I read on one of these sites that Mamie Eisenhower kept the legs of her bed in pails of kerosene.

I love it! I don't feel so alone. I mean, if Mamie Eisenhower had bed bugs, holy cow, well, that cheers me up for some reason.

    Thanks for the post.
