Hi! I just ordered the Passive Monitor from bed-bugs.co.uk and I was looking at the installation instructions and I noticed some conflicting information. I have this bed (https://www.myikeabedroom.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/flaxa2.jpg) - it's pushed against the wall, and the slats are thin as you can see.

On the bed-bugs.co.uk website this picture (https://i.imgur.com/7KH3EPi.png) shows two possible positions to place the monitor - one of which is under the top slat. But this diagram from the passive monitor installation pdf document (https://i.imgur.com/fVl0LHe.png) shows the passive monitor placed above the top slat? I'm confused as to where in my bed I should place mine when it arrives? On top of the top slat, so the monitor is facing the mattress, or under the top slat, so the monitor is facing the floor? And should I place it in the center of the slat or on one of the far left or far right ends of the slats?

As per this instruction sheet: https://static.bed-bugs.co.uk/uploads/2018/07/bed-bugs-passive-bed-bug-monitor-instructions.pdf , I believe it should go in the middle of the head-end slat, underneath your mattress.

You can always e-mail David too. He's usually pretty good at responding promptly.

For the record, I am NOT an expert.
My advice/opinion comes from past experience(s) with bed bugs and what I have read on-line.
