    Hi,

No it’s a pscocid or booklouse, lots written about them if you search the forum, they are usually an indicator species for damp issues.

    Hope that helps.

If you put your thumb over the head of the louse in the picture it can appear to be a bed bug nymph.
But your image is pretty clear and the "neck" section is not obscured, not sure how they misidentified such a simple one.

Which BB supply forum? PM me if you would rather not say in public. I would like to check in on them and make sure they are making accurate IF’s.

No one who is running a bed bug forum should ever identify a booklouse as a bed bug.

Thank y’all for your support, I did have my house inspected today. We do have a moisture problem, the only insects they found were all moisture related, forein grain beetles, springtails and booklice, etc. This forum has been wonderful. Thank you again

    Hi,

Pleased it has turned out to be what we predicted.

I will be having a chat with them when I am back in the UK, it’s not a mistake that should ever be made.
