I found this bug crawling on my leg today.

For size reference, it is not much bigger than a sesame seed.

I am at least 90% sure that it's not a bedbug, but I'd like some second opinions.

If it's not a bedbug, then what is it?

I have a link below; there are numerous pictures on that page; scroll down to view them all.

    Thank you.

    Also, if it helps:

I did observe a small needle-like mouthpart that goes straight down, but could not successfully capture a discernible view of said feature from any angle, due to camera and lighting limitations.

    Thanks again.

looks like an anthocorid bug - related to bed bugs but is predacious.

So do I have anything to worry about then? Is this thing going to feed on me and my family?

No, not parasitic. There are cases, however, of anthocorid bugs biting, but it is tasting and not feeding on you.

That is great to know. Also, is this a bug that I should just let it be, or should I implement a pest management program of some sort? Is it likely to cause me any further problems?
