I live in an apartment so I don't have a choice on a pco. The guy they send in came 2 weeks ago, then again Friday (with another guy) and found nothing. Now they are going to send in the owner of the company. They say they are sure that it's not bed bugs but can't figure out what else it could be. They don't believe it's a skin thing because my son and I both get bit and are in separate rooms. I'm so lost and confused. I've done numerous searches, they've searched, I've had sticky glue traps under my bed legs for over a month now and have found nothing. I have the bed pulled from the wall also. I wake up with a single bite every morning. Mine itch for a short time and my sons don't seem to bother him. Are they hiding this well in my bed? Should I just toss the bed and see what happens? We are planning on getting a new bed in a couple weeks anyway. What else could be doing this? Any ideas? Thanks

I live in an apartment and don't have a choice of a PCO either.
I had them treat twice and they said they never found any.
The only evidence was what I found.
I don't think my PCO really inspects, he only reports if he sees something.
It sounds like you're being taken care of really well.

    I am NOT an expert.
My opinions are just opinions, they may NOT apply to yours or any situation.
My advice is to always do a LOT of research.
A lot of what I read contradicts other stuff on the Interweb.

The first time he inspected the box spring and just kind of looked at the walls with a flashlight. The second time the other guy just looked around with a flashlight and lifted one corner of my daughter's mattress. I don't believe that is a great inspection. I'm hoping the owner will do more. I will definitely speak up this time.

You need to remember that without finding anything during the inspection they would not be capable to offer a treatment, hence no business for them. That said, from your description of the inspection, it seems that it was not very thorough....

Exactly. You would think they would almost want to find something for the business. I'm hoping the owner will be more thorough.
