    I've had clusters of bites on my buttocks lately and suspected bed bugs. Then I was leaving out to work and found this critter near the light switch in my living room.

    If it crawls slow, it most likely is a carpet beetle. They are very common.

    Hi,

    Not the clearest of images but 100% not bedbug.

    Cross reference with the example images of carpet beetle larva but nothing to be overly concerned about.

    Too bad it's hosted on Photobucket because they now are sticking on a watermark. It doesn't look like a carpet beetle larva, but more like an adult.
