    No signs except bites roughly every 3 weeks, but found one of these on each of two pillows. Second photo included for size reference.

    It's a bit out of focus but looks like a latridiid beetle, a minute brown scavenger beetle, some are known as plaster beetles. Moisture related, feed on molds, fungi.

    Professional entomologist/arachnologist. I consult on all matters dealing with insects and arachnids, including those of natural history and biology to pest management and forensic entomology investigations.

    Any possibility it is a kissing bug? Would explain the bites...
