I should also add that I am staying at a hotel in Paris and they do change the sheets everyday
and it's our third day in. I noticed this on the sheets but I'm not sure if it is bed bug related. I hurt my ankle so I have been in bed all day today so could it have bit me and have a delayed reaction?

the pattern and shape of the stain had me worried

    Hi,

    No also not bedbug related.

I would suggest spending sometime looking through the refernce images so you better understand what bedbugs look like.

Us experts would generally rather people become educationed / informed and therefore less anxious.

It is after all the only viable long term solution.
