Hi! I'm panicking as I've been feeling super itchy the past few days and woke up with this bite this morning – https://i.imgur.com/m7EWkw5.jpg

I also noticed there are these 3 little stains on my sheets. Not sure how long they have been there but it's in the middle of my bed, on my fitted sheet – https://i.imgur.com/NGONRLD.jpg

Could someone please ID? I'm panicking as I've had bed bugs before and I'm really hoping I won't need to go through that again.

    Hi,

Please see the “bite primer” for information in skin reactions.

The stains are indicative or confirming if bedbugs.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi David,

Thanks for your quick response. I took a look and I do have very sensitive and dry skin. However, I'm certain this is a bite but I'm just unsure since it's 1 single bite.

I've looked through my mattress and bed frame and wasn't able to see anything else indicative of bed bugs. I steamed the velcro pieces of my bed frame and threw my sheets into the dryer for 1+ hour.

Would this warrant me calling an inspection dog to come and check?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

I would suggest monitoring is the next step.
