    Very scary that (1) a hospital would diagnose bed bugs solely on bites; and (2) quarantine the person instead of quarantining/treating the person's clothes and belongings. Of course, we're reading this in the media, so the real facts may be better (or worse).

    Oh My God! I am horrified that these people were quarantined. They must have felt like lepers! That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard as they probably were bitten at home. They should have just given them a clean set of clothing and bagged their possessions. At any rate hospitals should be checking every bed and room every week for any evidence and treat or steam as needed.
