BB detected aug 11, last BB found Oct 4. It was a horrible and exhausting experience. Turned our life upside down. Still have things in bins and plastic bags in attic and closets, don't want to deal with going thru things and the chance of one little BB alive somewhere. Have passive monitors in place and BB blue on hand. With the business of the holidays really thought I was getting over it, but the fear is in full swing now. Found a black spot/streak on mattress today, internally freaked , tested it with BB blue and was negative. But I question did I not do it right even though David says its idiot proof (my words, not his.) And where did this black spot come from to begin with! We have no idea where we got them from so I'm suspicious of everything. Like most of us I have had an "eventful" life so far with a lot of struggles and this is one thing that I just cant shake. Just had to vent, thanks for listening....

    Hi,

Let's put it this way, I have not found anyone who has managed to get the kit wrong if they follow the simple instructions. It's more reliable than visual inspection and sometimes a mark on the sheet is just that.

I would be looking to get things out of boxes and life back to normal as soon as possible, sometimes it's the hassle of excessive treatment prep that can cause ongoing anxiety.

    Hope that helps.

I am happy to answer questions in public but will not reply to message sent directly or via my company / social media. I am here to help everyone and not just one case at a time.

In accordance with the AUP and FTC I openly disclose my vested interest in Passive Monitors as the inventor and patent holder. Since 2009 they have become an integral part in how we resolve bed bug infestations. I also have a professional relationship with PackTite in that they distribute my product under their own branding. I do not however receive any financial remuneration for any comments I make about pro

David, thanks for your response and words of wisdom. After an anxiety filled night which almost effected a special family day today I decided that I need to choose to believe what I am being told! When BB blue is negative , then its negative. When the passives are clean, there are no bugs! Good luck to all. ( till my next breakdown!!)
