Paper?? Bed bug cast skin? I'm nervous about all things BB related because we just got back from Costa Rica. Does this look like a cast skin, found it in my bed this morning.
Also, can an expert give me the characteristics of a cast skin? Color? does it bend or flake off? will it roll into a ball or crumble? Are they usually whole or in pieces? Thank you!!

    Hi,

100% not cast skin. If you search the forum you will see example images or alternative look up my FlickR feed.

    Hope that helps.

The close up picture shows dots that look, to me, to be man made. They almost look printed. Not sure what it is, but I've been in printing a long time and that's what it looks like. To me. Like a small piece of printed, curled, plastic.

I'm not an expert just a dumb struggling bed bugger like every body else.

Yes, looks like a label or a peel off part of label. robinsmom is right about printing.

    Rhirhi,

Check out the photos of bed bugs (and links to cast skin photos) in this FAQ:

The knowledge may help you in future!
