Is this a bed bug?
(6 posts)-
I'm in Peru, so it could possibly be many other things. I woke up with a few bites last night, but they definitely don't seem to be from bed bugs (one of them is a single itchy bite with a small red dot in the center and the other formed a blood blister immediately) so I'm not too worried yet, but this morning, I found this bug and it looked a bit suspicious to me.
Here's two video clips of it. Apologies for the shakiness, I was doing my best

Sorry, my computer is trying to play it as music. For IDs you're much better off posting a close-up picture rather than a video.

youtube.com/watch?v=ZmTeQ3W9BiEMuch better with a picture. Obviously not a bed bug at all. The antennae are quite distinctive. This is a beetle.
