In my home live me, my husband, and my 10 year old and 5 year old son. Is it possible that none of us will react? How common is it to have no reaction to bites? Any key factors play a part?

It's possible... neither DH nor I really react, although I've started getting faint red painless marks after I've had a hot shower. I didn't know how many bites I was getting until I saw the faint red splotches! And now I'm taking an antihistamine for allergies, the splotches have gone away again.

We don't know a whole lot about why some people react and some don't. Some people react after a time but not at first. Some never.

If you know you have bed bugs, consider using a bed bug monitoring system to determine if they're gone or if they come back.

I started and run the site but am "not an expert."
