This is just a quick message to note that I made a few changes last night to the software.

Everything should be as you left it, but if anything seems missing or funny, feel free to ask in this thread (or you can email me via the contact form).

    Thank you!

I started and run the site but am "not an expert."

Here's one (note to self): the "report this post" link needs to be added back.

Let me know if anything seems missing or "off". Thanks!

Eastern Standard Time is (still) missing . Did the software changes possibly make it easier to restore that.

I am not sure if its due tot he upgrade but the quote function on a post I was just making did not work.

    David

I am happy to answer questions in public but will not reply to message sent directly or via my company / social media. I am here to help everyone and not just one case at a time.

In accordance with the AUP and FTC I openly disclose my vested interest in Passive Monitors as the inventor and patent holder. Since 2009 they have become an integral part in how we resolve bed bug infestations. I also have a professional relationship with PackTite in that they distribute my product under their own branding. I do not however receive any financial remuneration for any comments I make about pro

Thanks, David -- will work on the quote function.

Alas, jrbtnyc, I have to figure out (again) how to fix that. There will be additional upgrades soon, however, so if I don't, a fix should still be on the horizon.

Glad to have been able to help ensure you don't lose sleep since you've done that for so many other people.

    Jrbtnyc,

I am working on the quote function, but it might take a little time.

    I won't forget.

Will work on the other points too now or later depending on when
    bigger changes will occur.

By the way, note for the uninitiated-- until the quote function is fixed, you can still quote:
copy what you want from someone's post.

Say "so-and-so said," then paste in the quote.

Highlight the quote with your cursor, and then click the "quote" button in the WYSIWYG editor.

That will format it as a block quotation, making it clear these are not your words, and will make your post easier on the eyes to boot!

It's worth the little extra trouble so people know who/what you're replying to.
