    Help! Just moved my suitcase in garage and found a bunch of these bugs. If not BB, does anyone know what they are? Please ID. Freaking out a bit. Thanks!

    I did and I am at a lose. I have poor eyesight so it males it a bit difficult (hopefully surgery to see better soon!) Until then ,help appreciated

    Why are you freaking out? This is a springtail. Actually has 6 legs, but not an insect.

    Springtails were once classified as insects but through molecular work, it's been shown that they are hexapods, but not insects.

    Thanks Loubug, hexapods almost sound like a video game character and spring tails make them sound... dare I say whimsical? Unfortunately I have poor eyesight (hoping to have surgery to correct soon) and anxiously assume the worst case scenaro regarding any bug in a hotel or near a suitcase. Hard to catch 'em early if you can't see them coming well, lol. Thanks for your knowledge and understanding.
