I want someone can confirm me this is not a bedbug?

I hope this forum could have a gallery for common "bugs" found at home. And let the experts in this forum, definitely not some people like me, to tell people this is NOT a bedbug.

Are you asking for someone to ID a picture you took? I looked at your post and there was no picture. Not that I'm an expert, I am absolutely NOT....but they would need a pic in order to try and identify.

This is NOT a bed bug.

    It is a beetle.

It may be a Taxus weevil type beetle but the photo is a tad too unclear to determine for sure.

Hope this helps ! paul b.

I just checked other the FQA of this forum, i should have placed a coin in my photo.
It's ~5mm. Based on my searching, it might be some kind of ground beetles.
But need some expert to confirm that. My roommate does trust me because i'm not professional...

It looks like a weevil of some sort possibly strawberry root weevil, black vine weevil, etc, species of Otiorhynchus such as O. sulcatus or O. ovatus. It's a bit out of focus to be 100% certain of a determination. In any case, a snout beetle or weevil, certainly not a true bug, especially a bed bug.
