    Hey y'all.

Been waking up the last week or so with unexplained looking red "bites" and been doing my research here and other places on the internet. So far haven't found any signs of BBs (fecal stains, blood stains, etc.) on my bed, sheets, or furniture. While reading some of the posts here I found out about carpet bugs, and after cleaning up a little in my apartment, found this little guy dead on the floor.

    bug 1

    bug 2

Any help at all would be appreciated it! Thanks!

It's a beetle. I don't know the type (60,000 different types if memory serves me right) but it's NOT a carpet beetle.

These are outdoor pests ... they don't bite. Forget this one, it's nothing to worry about
