ID these droppings / bite please!
(6 posts)-
Hi there,
My partner is convinced that this bite came from a bed bug. She woke up with it on her calf today, and has had similar, smaller bites recently on her thighs.

We searched the mattress and ran a credit card. We found this 'blood spot' where perhaps she was bitten (it was in the right place to suggest that is what happened).

Other than that we found these bits of debris in some crevices, which she believes are bed bug droppings and mushed up skins, but I believe are just years of accumulated debris.

Hi,
Really hoping someone can take a very quick look at these pictures and offer an opinion... please?

I’m not an expert but:
1) no one can ID bites (not even progessionals) since everyone reacts differently to bed bug bites
2) again, no one can really ID blood stains as being bed bug related.
3) doesn’t look bed bug related to me
I would usually leave these questions to the experts on the site (Lou, BigDummy, Killer Queen, etc) but sounds like you’re a bit anxious so I wanted to ease your mind. Again, I’m not an expert but none of your pictures stand out to me as being bed bug related. Hope that helps!
For the record, I am NOT an expert.
My advice/opinion comes from past experience(s) with bed bugs and what I have read on-line. -
