    I'm not an expert, but have seen this culprit here before, it looks like a minute pirate bug nymph. They can come in from the outside off of flowers and plants. Google the image, you'll see the similarity. They get mistaken for bed bug nymphs often.

    I agree. Too bad the picture wasn't taken closer to the bug to get a more macro shot.

    Slightly similar, but once you've seen enough bed bugs, it's easier to tell the difference.
