    if it's so tiny, it's not a bed bug. First instar bed bug is 1.5mm, so it's no so tiny. This insect looks like a minute brown scavenger beetle or plaster beetle. This is associated with some moisture or dampness and mold.

    Professional entomologist/arachnologist. I consult on all matters dealing with insects and arachnids, including those of natural history and biology to pest management and forensic entomology investigations.
