Can a pro ID this please? I came home after being gone all day at work and found it crawling right across my living room floor.

I'm not a pro and I can't tell you what it is, but it's not a bed bug.

    Hi,

Bet you never thought you were glad to see a roach.

The two most obvious signs are the very long and straight antennae and the two cerci that stick out at the abdomen.

A common misidentification but one that’s easy to learn to not be concerned over.

    Hope that helps.

You are right - never been happier to have a roach. Never knew about cerci. The placement (walking around the living room) didnt make sense and for a minute I thought my problem was much worse than I thought! Thank you.
