My feet are full of large mosquito-sized bites that only occur when I sleep at home. I searched the bed for BBs but all I could find was some odd looking creatures on the floor that are about 1mm in length
I thought it would be worth checking with someone more experienced. Thanks.

I see a wing in that photo, so I'm thinking not bEd bugs?

If you're getting bites just around your feet/ankles, any chance it could be fleas?

Leaveyou: Insects are booklice and happen to be winged species. These insects do not bite and take blood.

Winged booklice is not a common ID. Interesting variation. Thanks, Lou!

Leaveyou, we have a DIY flea trap plan in our flea FAQ, which might help you rule them out.

I started and run the site but am "not an expert."

I certainly hope so. but the bite marks are large and grouped. Also, although I don't have any on my face there are some on my hands and lower back.
I'm taking @Nobugsonme's advice in setting a DIY flea trap but I'll be surprised if this works.

We're trying to rule out many things. Even glue boards can be left out to hopefully collect some crawling arthropods. You can use a lint roller tape with a hangle and roll it over surfaces to collect suspect areas.
