    Hi-
    Found this on the hotel bed just a few mins ago. Anyone able to ID and confirm what it is? I smooshed it on the bed as soon as I saw it so the long things extending out are its legs.

    Cockroach nymph. The tiny segmented points are the cerci and are situated on the rear of the abdomen. Large hind legs sticking out. Middle and front legs are hidden by body. Head end is down and the very fine, filamentous antennae are attached there.

    Professional entomologist/arachnologist. I consult on all matters dealing with insects and arachnids, including those of natural history and biology to pest management and forensic entomology investigations.

    Thanks, but where are you? That roach isn't the typical one I know from the east coast.
