    Hi,

So I found this bug crawling across my floor. I pretty much freak out every time I see a bug without wings as I was exposed to bedbugs earlier this year at a hotel and I was bit (I managed not to bring them home thank God). I'm no expert but this really looks like from my memory the bugs I found crawling on the bed of the hotel. I woke up this morning with an itchy spot on my foot this morning that I just attributed to a mosquito. It's still warm here in NYC and I was in DC this past weekend where it was pretty hot. I have seen a few cockroaches around my apartment so I would be relieved to know if it was a baby cockroach or something else. I know the bug is squashed but hopefully someone can ID it.

A beetle, not a bed bug. Needs to be closer to it to get a better picture, but possibly a spider beetle.
