Hi there end good evening from Germany,

I was staying in pretty dirty and run down hotel in Antwerp 3 weeks ago and we had to change rooms in the middle of the night because of a variety of different bugs/insects that bothered us while trying to sleep.
After that we took care of every piece of clothing we had with us (washing on high temperature), but somehow my wife has been getting a lot of stings/bites lately, mostly at night and some of them form a "street", typical (from what I´ve read on the internet) for bed bugs looking for suitable veins.
So, today I found this dead specimen next to the headside of our bed and was wondering if somebody could it this.

Unfortunately it is really pretty small. Hope this still works.

    Thanks a lot!

Thanks, but I´ve got new shots to make this a little bit easier.
Was putting an alarm at 3 am today to maybe get the chance to catch some in the act and was lucky.
Maybe you can do some better IDing with this:

It's a good thing you were able to get better shots of what's bothering you. That's definitely a bed bug nymph. It had fed some time in the recent past days.

So we called an exterminator and found this dead bug lying around. If it's a bedbug then hooray, the exterminator killed it
