Too bad you didn't get closer to take the picture. It's a beetle. Could be a male black carpet beetle.

Hmm. Thank you for your help. So likely not a bedbug then? I can try to take more pictures, but when I zoom in or hold the camera close, my phone loses focus. Either way, I'm taking the little demon to maintenance tomorrow to see if they'll spray the place.

I got more pictures. Just in case. I'm also going to take it to management tomorrow. Just in case.

I don't know what you are, beastie, but I hate you for giving me a gods damned heart attack. I hope a sparrow eats your entire family for breakfast tomorrow.

    Here's what I said:

--- I mentioned nothing about it being a bed bug. I said it's a beetle but because of the clarity and it being behind plastic, a specific ID wasn't possible.

Still hiding behind plastic. It looks like a male carpet/dermestid beetle; maybe an "anobiid" beetle that would be a stored product pest. Obviously not a bed bug.

Thank you. Sorry about the plastic. I couldn't kill it by squishing it gently and I was afraid if I squished it hard I'd deform it, so it had to stay there.
