I have seen a few translucent amber flaky bits like these on my bed sheets -- possibly part of a cast skin?

If cast skins are left on top of the bed, would they likely easily crumble from impact, losing their identifiable bug form?

Cast skins are so light they move on a breeze and as such they move before they can be broken apart. The sample is most likely a skin rag or scab and nothing to worry about.

    Hope that helps.
