I really do hate this time of the year (well, except for the sunshine and flowers). So far my bathroom has mites, I keep finding earwigs and now this ugly bug.

Just curious if anyone can tell me what this is?

Is that a larvae of some sort? I don't even see legs...?

I know - it looked like that to me too. Definitely some creepy crawly though legless at this point.

I'm not an expert but it looks like a larva or intermediate stage between larva and adult of some type. Possibly a fly.

    .....I am NOT an expert.....

Any advice i give here is based solely on my own personal experiences in dealing with bedbugs & other household vermin.

    Hi Suzanne,

LOL.....shhhh......don't say you hate Spring to loud.....Mother Nature seems to be in a foul mood lately and we don't wait to tick her off too much!!

Looks like it *could* be a carpet beetle larvae??? My old eyes are having a problem focusing on your pic. I do need glasses.... But, I can see it enough to know it's not a bed bug.....WooHoo!!!!

Sorry, I can't be of more help. I understand about the creepy crawlies waking up during this time of year. I have been finding different little bugs here and there in my house and I know it's only a matter of time before the invasion of box elders cover my house and deck....yuck!!

But, hopefully, a pro will see this thread and can give you a formal ID.

Thank everyone...I feel like it's time to get the exterminator back in for all the creepy crawlies. I really need to eliminate everything so I can have a nice calm relaxing spring and summer. Does anyone know the deal as far as how long it's advised to spray after you've been treated for bed bugs? I keep thinking the residuals are still around although that's probably not the truth.
