It's a sealed plastic bag of photos and papers. The contents have been through the dryer twice, then sealed, then put in the freezer for three days. They have been in the bag unopened since November 2014. Is there the slightest, tiniest possibility that a single live bug could be inside?

go to outdoors, wear a protective gear, and bring lots of sprays.
open the bag up, scan the papers in with a phone. and discard the papers. you are done.

Then bring the bag with you to live in a hotel or hospital, use them daily, if you are not reinfested by them after a week, then you are safe to bring them back and do whatever you want.
