Is this bed bug fecal staining? it's at the top of my daughters closet. It looks to me to be too big, it's the same feeling as the wood.

Can someone please take a look and let me know their thoughts? We're going on 9 months of skin reactions and were moving. I just want to make sure I wont be bringing anything with us. I also dont want to be leaving anything for the next tenants. I've been trying very hard to keep my anxiety down and reminding myself that 9 months is a long time to have never found confirming signs. It's just there are still those people who say they've gone 8, 9 months or even a year before they found confirming signs that leaves me a little concerned. Thank you

    Hi,

It looks more like roach or fly to me but its close enough in appearance to test with bed bug blue.

    Hope that helps.

There are people that make all kinds of absurd claims about anything possible, but when compared to the vast majority you realize just how far off these claims can really be.

After nine months you would have no problem finding live bed bugs.

BigDummy, thank you. That was my line of thinking too.

David, thank you also. I dont have any bed bug blue and dont have time to get it ordered before moving. Is there another way to test it? Saliva or alcohol? Will it still smear if on wood or would the qtip turn red if its blood?
    Thank you

That is the accurate and reliable way of testing.

I can only advise the best option.
