I found this on the mattress. It was stuck on and didn’t move when I went to get it off the bed. It did not smear but when wet with Qtip I was able to wipe the spot off- I don’t think it’s bedbug related but wanted a second opinion.

This was the market left after I wiped it

let me explain why I don’t think it is 1) didn’t smear when wet with spit on atop. It just rubbed off after repeatedly rubbing but did leave a stain underneath. 2) the spot doesn’t seem dark enough- ila couple photos are with the flash on. I go back and forth between using the flash as sometimes I feel like the flash distorts the color. It didn’t look as dark as it did with the flash in natural light. 3) the snap isn’t a perfect sphere- however I have seen some bb fecal in the images link that don’t look like a perfect sphere. 4) there’s only one spot- it’s my understanding that bedbug fecal would usually have more then one spot.

With that- can any professional weigh in their thoughts?

    Thank you.

You spend far too much time here. Unbolt those training wheels.

Big dummy I’m trying to improve my detection skills so I won’t have to spend so much time on here. Which is why with the above photos I detailed what I saw in the mark so I could learn if that was the correct approach to telling it was bb related or not. . I am tryin to figure out what is causing my sons multiple marks a day and have a dermatologist appointment coming up. I’m trying is all I can say.
