I don't have an experience with bedbugs, but I live in Manhattan and recently have been waking up with non-itchy bites (4/29 - 2 bites, 5/4 - 2 bites). Earlier this week (5/4), I called an inspection team to perform both a visual and canine inspection, but the inspector did not find any bed bugs. On 5/5, I woke up with another bite. Not sure how to proceed.

I noticed this stain on my sheets today (Image 2 was taken with magnification). I tried to wipe it with a wet cloth, but it didn't really smear (photographed after test). Could it be bb fecal matter?

Thank you all for all your help! I'm feeling incredibly anxious about this situation and would appreciate any words of wisdom!

Fresh bedbug poop will easily smear.

Thank you so much Jim! Will continue to be vigilant, purchased the BB Alert Passive Monitor and hope to set it up soon.
