    This spot was on my box spring cover and did not budge when I tried to brush it off. I used my nail and popped it up. It's shiny and very dark but over a light, appears dark dark reddish brown. I'm waiting on bedbug blue to arrive and don't want to smear it.

    Wish I took a pic of it first on the polyester cover....

    Any input?

    That's the problem with flat pics, in reality it's like a wet-ish dry-ish gelatinous goop...
    Don't really know what to think. There's been some bites and I've been on the hunt. It's a spot that wasn't there a few days ago. Literally 12 inches from my pillow. I will keep looking.

    Hi,

    The colour and reported consistency is wrong for bed bug faecal. While the top Q-tip pic is close in colour the others that are better illuminated are wrong.
