I have reduced inspections to weekly, bi-weekly even at times. Now I have found some spots that are fecal, that I can't remember if they were there before...... any way to determine the age of the spots? They're all on eggshell colored flat wall paint.

Not a pro here. Call me Jon Snow...... for I know nothing, except what I've experienced.

I haven't heard of any such test. But fresh fecal has a shiny, moist appearance.

They are dark, blackish. I can't tell if they are shiny. I'll just try to keep calm I suppose.
